Donna Dangott is a contemporary American Photographic Artist. She has exhibited her work extensively across the US in group and solo exhibitions in gallery and museum settings, as well as in virtual galleries and a wide variety of print media. Her work is held in many private and public collections. Her unique visual style comes from a background in biomedical illustration and in fine art photography. Although originally devoted to film and analog photographic processes her work has evolved over the years into a totally digital creative process. Her work ranges from completely realistic, detailed and moody landscape and nature studies to surreal and highly evocative visual imagery which often references dreams and memories. Her portfolio of works explores many themes, and often includes elements of the natural world and our human connections to it, and our intricate relationships with one another. She received her BFA in Photography in 1988 from Austin Peay State University. Currently based in Texas, she previously lived in Massachusetts and Tennessee, and she frequently travels the country and abroad. She is represented by Gallery 7NINE based in Dallas, TX.
